Golf Coaching & Training Lessons

All golfers are not built alike. Some are short, some are tall, some are fat, and some are thin…. Each one of us is different from the other. We are human. Having said this we do however share a common bond. From the very best to the very worst, we all want to improve. We all know and believe with every fiber in our bodies, that we are better than the score we shot today. We listen to the famed instructors, read the books, watch the television and rush out to the course armed with advice and knowledge and a cure. Unfortunately, the cure doesn’t work. And if it does, it only lasts a few holes. We return to the books and the television, listening intently to every word and watching every motion. Sure that we’ve now found it, we can’t wait to get back to the course to make our best score. What ends up happening? Does this sound familiar? I’m sure it does.
There is no secret to the game of golf. There are fundamentals that must be learned. You cannot buy or rent this game. You must be patient and willing to learn. And you must practice. No professional tour player has ever reached any level of success without having spent thousands and thousands of hours pounding ball after ball. Some reach levels of success quicker than others. Some mature early, others later. There is no preset timetable. There is no magic wand.
I believe the game can be made simple if we stick to fundamentals. All golfers can improve if there is honesty and willingness and patience. Be realistic. Be honest with how much effort you are prepared to put in.
As you learn the correct fundamentals there is a fairly good chance that you may not see an immediate improvement. Be patient. Don’t give up at the first poor shot. Don’t revert to the old habits. Understand that you’re learning and growth is an ongoing experience. Ask yourself why the world’s very best players take instruction? Why do these players go through ups and downs? Accept that if you wish to improve that you will take instruction throughout your golfing career.
The Myles Golf Academy will help you understand the game of golf in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. If we’re not having fun, then you’re not having fun. We want to be an integral part of your learning experience
